Description

No. 62 High Street is a house with origins dating back to the 17th century. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and brick construction, topped with an asbestos tile roof. The building has a two-room plan and is now two storeys high, although the left-hand bay was originally just one storey with attics. There are two 2-light horizontal sash windows on each floor, all with glazing bars. The front door, which is slightly off-centre, is a plank door aligned with a red brick double ridge stack. At the rear, there are single storey additions made of timber frame and brick.
