Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage located on the south-east side of High Street in Riseley. The building is timber-framed with plaster infill, and has an old clay tile roof. It originally comprised two rooms, with a single storey and attics. A central chimney stack, built of red brick and with a double ridge, is situated in line with the front door. The cottage has modern windows and a front door. The gable end faces the road. A 20th-century extension has been added to the south-east gable end.
