Description

This is a house, situated at 5 and 7 Church Lane, Wymington. A datestone indicates construction in 1651. The building is primarily constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a Welsh slate roof. A lower wing to the south is rendered and colourwashed, also with a Welsh slate roof. The main building features moulded stone gable copings with a ball finial at the north end. The house is two storeys high with attics, and includes 20th-century box dormers. Windows are 20th-century small-paned casements, with a bow window on the east elevation. The lower wing to the south features one storey and attics, along with a box dormer to the east elevation, and 20th-century casement windows. A single-storey lean-to project from the east elevation.
