Description

West Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century or 18th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with tile gable coping. The house has two storeys and a gable end facing the road. It has modern casement windows that include glazing bars, and the thatch arches over three first-floor windows. The ground floor windows are adorned with ashlar keystones and heads. There is a central modern trellis porch at the ground floor. Additionally, there is a one-storey addition on the south gable end, which is also constructed of rubble and has a clay tile roof.
