Description
The Three Compasses Public House is a public house dating from around 1700. It features colour washed brick and rough cast on a timber frame, with a weatherboarded north end and a thatched roof. The building has a four-bay plan and stands two storeys high. On the ground floor, there is one three-light casement window and one two-light horizontal sash window, with the front door located opposite a red brick ridge stack. The doors date from the 20th century. The first floor has three horizontal sash windows, including one three-light and two two-light windows, all with glazing bars.
