Description

This is a house dating to around 1830. It is built of painted brick with a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has two wide bays. The central entrance features a six-panelled door within a pedimented surround, with an architrave and entablature, flanked by sixteen-pane sash windows with flat-arched brick heads. An additional bay on the upper floor extends over the adjacent former stable block of the Tontine Hotel. The building has dentilled eaves and gable end stacks. Cast-iron railings enclose the front garden.
