Description

This is a former stable block dating to around 1800, originally part of the Tontine Hotel. Constructed of painted brick with a Welsh slate roof, it is two storeys high and four bays wide. The front elevation features a range of three doorways, two of which are now blocked and have been replaced with windows. A further inserted doorway is present to the right. A single original window remains, featuring a cambered brick head. There is a loading door to the upper floor, and two windows positioned to align with the lower openings; the window to the left is incorporated into the facade of 2 Severnside. A coped gable is visible to the north, with a corbelled-out section. The building is listed for its group value within the historic area.
