Description
Oakhill is a house built in 1899, designed by C F A Voysey for F J Mayers. It is two storeys high with irregularly placed windows. The exterior is rough rendered and features a tiled roof. The central part of the house has a gabled projection with a five-light window, while the left-hand gabled section has a four-light window. There are casement windows, including one on the right with leaded panes, and a round-headed doorway. The rear elevation has deep eaves that sweep down between parapeted two-storey canted bays with leaded lights, long rectangular casement windows on the ground floor, and a French window.
