Description

Highlands is a house built in 1906-1907, designed by architect C F A Voysey. It is two storeys tall and features a roughcast exterior with red brick piers at the corners. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and it has tall chimney stacks also faced with roughcast. The entrance front includes a large gable and a round-headed doorway, with a mullion and transomed window above and to the left. The garden front has casement windows with stone mullions and leaded lights. To the left, there is a central porch that is an earlier and less notable part of the house.
