Description

Lower Brockshill Farmhouse is an L-shaped timber-framed building dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is now faced with ashlar and red brick on the ground floor, while the upper part is tile-hung. The north side features weather-boarding, and the building has a gable on the south wing. The roof is tiled, and there are casement windows throughout. An additional window-bay has been added at the west end. The farmhouse stands two storeys high and has three windows.
