Description
The Worcester Cross is a Gothic canopied fountain designed by Meredith, dating from the 19th century. It has an octagonal shape with gabled elevations over clock faces, and one side features a crest. The fountain is adorned with gargoyle ornaments. The lower section consists of open arches supported by octagonal granite columns, with drinking fountains on either side and a door. An inscription reads, "This fountain was presented to the town of Kidderminster by John Brinton October 21, 1876."
