Description

The Baldwin Memorial is a cast-iron tomb located in the graveyard, approximately 32 metres south of the church ruins in Stourport on Severn. It is likely from the early 19th century and commemorates members of the Baldwin family who lived between 1795 and 1874. The memorial has a square plan and is raised on a cast-iron plinth, featuring engaged shafts at the corners and a pyramidal cap topped with a flaming urn. The memorial is inscribed on all four sides in memory of the Baldwin family, who likely cast it in their foundry.
