Description
The Rising Sun Public House is a building that likely began as two separate homes, constructed in the early 19th century. It features painted brickwork and a Welsh slate roof. The structure is two stories high and has four bays. There are two doorways, each surrounded by 18-pane sash windows that have segmentally arched brick heads. Above these doorways are 12-pane sash windows. The eastern doorway has a flat wooden architrave, while the western doorway is topped with a slim open pediment supported by console brackets. The building is finished with a dentilled eaves cornice and has gable end stacks.
