Description

The Baldwin family tomb is located in Plaxtol Churchyard, 20 yards north of the west end. It dates from the 18th century and early 19th century. The tomb enclosure features three headstones, including one double headstone, along with four body blocks arranged in the center. At each end of the enclosure, there is a table tomb, both of which have panelled sides and rusticated corners. The entire structure is surrounded by spearhead railings with vasehead standards set on an ashlar plinth.
