Description

SP 0937 BROADWAY CP LEAMINGTON ROAD (west side) 8/121 No 26 (Passionist Residence) GV II House. Mid-C19. Squared limestone with tile roof. Two storeys, two bays. Windows are mullioned, rebated and chamfered on the ground floor. They are of three lights except for the left-hand ground floor window, which is of four lights. Ground floor openings linked by continuous hood. First floor windows have hoods and extend upwards into dormer gables which have copings and openwork finials. Door, between bays, has moulded surround with Tudor arch. Above, on the first floor, is a blank heart-shaped plaque. Gables coped, with chimneys which have paired diagonal shafts.
