Description
The Den and Lynton are a cottage range dating to the 17th century. They are constructed primarily of blue lias stone, with Lynton being rendered, and have plain tile roofs. The Den section is one storey with an attic, featuring a large gable containing a renewed first floor triple casement window and an iron triple casement to the ground floor, the latter with a modern lintel. A modern porch has been added. To the right are a pair of casement windows and a gabled dormer. A modern garage has been inserted through a stone shed at the north end. Lynton has one ridge stack and a wall stack at the south end, as well as two gabled dormers with iron casements. On the ground floor is a door with a 19th-century sash window to the left and a small four-pane window to the right.
