Description

Amery Lodge is an early 19th-century house built on an earlier core. It is constructed of blue lias stone with a plain tile roof, featuring two ridge stacks and a wall stack at the north end. The main house is two storeys high with a five-window front, accentuated by a central pedimental gable containing a small brick loop. It has sash windows, with brick heads above the windows in the three bays on the right-hand side. A central, projecting porch is gabled with a Tudor arch. At the rear, there is a gabled range dating from the 17th or early 18th century, with two cambered-head ground floor windows, one modern dormer window, and a stack at the west end.
