Description

The Boulter memorial is a headstone located about 10 metres south-west of the west tower of the Church of St Egwin. It dates from 1908 and was created by the artist Eric Gill. The memorial is made of ashlar stone and features a narrow design topped with a primitive crucifixion above the inscription panel, which has a moulded surround. The inscription reads: "Hannah Maria/ Boulter born 23 September 184[...]/ Died [...]/ 1908. RIP".
