Description
No. 12 Bridge Street is a house from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of painted red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with a painted moulded eaves cornice. The building stands three storeys high and likely has a cellar. It has a single-window range, with the upper storeys displaying flush tripartite sashes in a 4/4:6/6:4/4 configuration, complete with sills and a gauged brick flat arch on the second floor. The ground floor includes a 20th-century shallow canted multipane shop window and, to the left, a 20th-century glazed door with an overlight. Both are flanked by fluted corniced pilasters that support a frieze and a leaded cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
