Description
15 High Street is a house and shop dating from the early 19th century that has been remodelled. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and features a Welsh-slate roof with painted dogtooth eaves. The building has three storeys and a two-window range. On the first floor, there are two replacement casement windows with simple rendered channelled voussoirs and keystones. The second floor has two 3:3-pane casement windows flanking a blocked central window. The ground floor, which has renewed brick, features a 20th-century plate glass and wood shopfront. The interior has not been inspected. The building is primarily noted for its contribution to the overall appearance of a good group of 18th and early 19th-century buildings.
