Description
The Minories and Old Timbers is a building consisting of three houses, now two, located on Main Street in Offenham. It dates from the 17th century and has undergone alterations in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. The structure features a timber frame set on a stone plinth, with painted brick and rendered infill, and is partly clad in coursed rubble. It has a thatched roof.
The Minories, which was formerly two houses with a stack between them, is situated to the south, while Old Timbers has a rubble stack at its north gable. The building is one storey high with an attic, which is lit by a 2-light casement window on the left and four eyebrow dormers. The ground floor includes one 2-light casement and two additional 2-light casements. The entrance on the right-hand corner has a lean-to tiled canopy, with another entrance roughly in the center and garage doors to the left. The entrance to Old Timbers is also at the right-hand corner. All entrances feature 20th-century ledged and boarded doors with ornamental strap hinges.
