Description

The Old Place is a house, likely dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and has a thatched roof, featuring a gable-end stack on the south side. The house is single-storey with an attic space, which is lit by three gabled dormers. The ground floor has three windows, each with two lights and set under segmental arches. The entrance, located to the right of centre, is protected by a lean-to tiled canopy and has a 20th-century half-glazed door. The building is included on the heritage register for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
