Description

Halfthatch is a house dating from the 17th century, with an extension added in the mid-19th century and some later 20th-century alterations. It is timber-framed with rendered infill and a thatched roof, with a further extension constructed of rendered brick and a tile roof. It has gable-end stacks. The original section is a single storey with an attic, lit by two eyebrow dormers, and contains two-light casement windows. The mid-19th century extension is two storeys high, with two-light casement windows on each floor. The timber framing consists of two square panels in height, with straight angle braces.
