Description
This building is a barn dating from the early 18th century, located about 30 metres south of Durrance Farmhouse. It features a timber-frame structure set on a sandstone plinth, with weatherboarding and a tiled roof. The barn consists of three framed bays oriented east to west, with a central threshing floor. The framing includes one rectangular panel high, straight tension braces, and two raking struts for each truss. Attached to the east end is a two-bay cart house made of brick, which dates from the early 19th century. Durrance Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
