Description
The Shrubbery is a house built in the early 19th century. It features a stucco exterior on brick with a hipped slate roof and rear stacks. The building stands three storeys tall and has single-storey flanking wings that include parapets. The eaves are boarded. The front has three windows: two 16-pane sashes on either side of a 12-pane sash. On the second floor, there are 8-pane and 6-pane sashes, while the ground floor wings have 18-pane sashes, with the parapets ramping up to the sides. The central entrance is supported by cast iron brackets for a swept canopy, which has trellised sides and a six-panelled door.
