Description
The Gardener's House and Garage, located to the southeast of Hartlebury Castle, is a coach house that has been converted into a house and garage. It dates from the late 17th century and was remodeled in the early 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a hipped tile roof. It stands two stories tall and has a brick dentilled cornice. There are three windows on the upper floor, which are 2-light casements set under segmental heads. The ground floor includes three coach entrances with semi-elliptical heads, centrally placed, flanked by a 2-light casement and an entrance that has a 3-pane overlight and a segmental canopy. Atop the roof is a hexagonal cupola with a bell-shaped lead roof that contains a bell, along with a clock face on a pedestal.
