Description

The Wilson family memorial is a chest tomb located about 30 yards southwest of the Church of St Michael. It dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and cornice, a slightly ridged capping, and panelled corner and central side pilasters. The south panels of the tomb commemorate Thomas Wilson, who died in 1837, and Mary Pardoe Wilson, who died in 1840.
