Description

This chest tomb, located about 13 meters southeast of the Church of St John the Baptist, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a moulded plinth and hipped capping. The sides are tapered, and there are shaped inscription panels. The south panel commemorates Thomas Yarnold, who died in 1856, while the inscriptions on the other panels are illegible.
