House, now shop. Probably C17 with later additions and alterations, including rebuilding to front part of mid/late C18, shop front c1880 and late C20 extension to rear. Remains of some timber-framing; pinkish-orange brick, whitewashed to front, that to front part in Flemish bond; slate roof to front, plain tiles to rear. 2 storeys with attics, 2 first-floor windows; range to rear with further extension. First floor has 2/2 sashes in plain reveals and with cambered arches and sills. 3-course band over first floor. Modillion eaves band. 2 attic dormers with renewed casement windows. Ground floor has entrance to through passage at right, a plank door. Shop front has pilasters and fascia with blind box, plinth, plate-glass windows and off-centre left entrance a glazed door. Rear: original rear range has exposed tie and collar beams with struts to apex. INTERIOR: ground floor has two cross beams. original bressumer beam visible to internal front wall. First floor has chamfered cross beam. To roof the purlins, collar beam and queen struts are visible.
