Description

This building on Friar Street, Worcester, is a house, now used as a restaurant and flat. It dates from around 1760, although it may incorporate elements from the 15th century, with later additions and alterations including an attic added in the 1960s and a shop front in 1996. The exterior is colour-washed render over pinkish-orange brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with stone sills. The roof is covered in plain tiles, with a stack at the left end featuring oversailing courses and decorative pots. There is a raised and coped gable end on the left side.

The building is three storeys high plus an attic and has two windows on the first floor. The first and second-floor windows are 6/6 sashes in near-flush frames, with flat arches, now rendered, and keystones, all with sills. A dentil eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The attic dormer has flat-roofed plate-glass casement windows. The ground-floor shop front features glazed windows with mullions, a glazed entrance, and a six-panel door on the right side.

The interior of the building was not inspected.
