Description

The building is a former coach house and cellar located about 30 metres north of Homme Castle Farm, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped plain tile roof and features a rear brick stack. The structure is one storey tall with an unlit attic, and it has a moulded brick string course above an opening that steps up to the left. The central door, which provides access to the attic, is approached by steps and framed by a wooden moulded architrave. On the ground floor, there are two blocked semi-circular arched coach bays to the left, which have been converted into a door and a window, and to the right, there are three segmentally headed openings.

The cellar has a separate access located about 15 metres to the east of the coach house. It measures 30 metres long by 6 metres wide and features a segmental barrel vault. Access to the cellar is through steps leading up to a segmentally headed arch over double doors with perforated heads. The north side of the cellar has six light bays, and there is a blocked entrance at the west end.
