Description

Woodbury Farmhouse is a circa 1800 farmhouse constructed of red brick in a Flemish stretcher bond, with a sandstone plinth and tiled roofs. The main east/west range faces south, and a lower range at the rear forms an L-shaped plan. The farmhouse is two storeys high, with a gable-lit attic and a partial cellar. It features a modillion eaves cornice and raised verges. There are three windows on the front elevation; these are 2- and 3-light casements with segmental heads. The central entrance has a 6-panelled door with a transom light, sheltered by a wooden bracketed pediment. A small central window below the cornice illuminates the attic space. A tall window at the rear lights the staircase. The interior includes oak door surrounds and a dog-leg staircase. A 20th-century conservatory extends from the north gable of the lower range. It served as a farmhouse on the Great Witley Estate.
