Description
This is a 17th-century pigeoncote located approximately 100 metres north-east of Eldersfield Court. The structure features timber framing set on a stone plinth, with brick infill and a tiled roof. It has a rectangular plan and is framed in four rows of square panels, supported by straight tension braces. The exposed trusses include struts between the tie-beam and collar. There is a doorway in the south wall. At the top, a timber cupola is topped with a lead cap and a weather-vane shaped like a fox.
