Description

Doddenham Hall is an early 18th-century brick farmhouse. It is constructed of brick in a pattern of three rows of stretchers alternating with one row of headers. The roof is tiled and hipped, with a three-course moulding at the eaves. The house has two storeys and an attic, arranged with seven bays. It features wooden mullion and transom windows, although the central first-floor window and the ground-floor window to the left of centre are blocked. Three gabled dormers are present, each with a moulded pediment and casement windows. A central Doric porch supports an entablature on two columns, and provides access to a planked timber door. There are two external brick stacks at the ends of the building, and a further stack to the rear.
