Description

Abberley House is an early to mid-19th century building of three storeys and a basement, located on Worcester Road. The exterior is stuccoed, with the ground floor featuring channelled rustication. A moulded eaves cornice tops the building. There are four windows on two storeys; the first-floor windows have been shortened, and modern round windows are present in the centre of the two upper storeys. A moulded string runs between the storeys. The ground floor has four windows, and a round-headed recessed door with a glazed fanlight. A modern porch supported by piers has been added, along with a modern bridge leading to the door, which sits above a basement storey that has been excavated. The building is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
