Description

This is a pair of chest tombs dedicated to the Southall family, located about 12 yards south of the Mortuary Chapel. One tomb dates from the mid-19th century and is signed by J Milton, while the other is a late 19th-century copy signed by R Payne. Both tombs are made of ashlar and feature reeded corners, central panels with concave corners and paterae, as well as ridged capping.
