Description
The Red Lion Inn is an early 19th-century building located on St Ann's Road. The main structure is set back and consists of two storeys finished in stucco. It features three windows with hung sashes that do not have glazing bars, along with a wing that has one window on each elevation, both with hung sashes that include glazing bars. The entrance has a porch topped with a flat hood supported by thin columns, adorned with wrought-iron spandrels. The right-hand section of the building has one window with hung sashes and glazing bars above a late 19th-century shop front, which is decorated with double carved pilasters featuring Ionic capitals. There is also a rectangular window with a panelled base and a panelled door.
