Description

This is a house, now divided into three separate dwellings. It originates from the early 17th century and was later incorporated into estate houses around the mid-19th century. The structure is timber-framed with rendered infill, with extensions constructed in brick, and has a tile roof. The street-facing facade is two storeys high, featuring a gabled cross-wing on the left. There are three windows; two modern casements on the left side and a single casement in the cross-wing. The ground floor entrance, located to the left of centre, is framed by a Tudor arch and has a glazed door. The original 17th-century section is visible at the rear of the property. The timber framing consists of two square panels in height, with straight tension braces to the first floor. The gable end features a centrally placed canted oriel with original ovolo mullions. The truss above contains two collars. Internally, there is an exposed ceiling beam with ovolo moulding.
