Description
The south portal of the Tardebigge Tunnel, part of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal, dates from around 1800 and has some repairs from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar with brick repairs. The structure features a retaining wall that supports a semi-circular arch with a keystone. Below the parapet, there is a band, and each end of the wall is adorned with a plain pilaster.
