Description

This is a barn and adjoining out-buildings dating from the early 19th century, located about 35 yards south-west of Woodcote Manor House. The structures are built of brick and feature a plain tiled roof with gable-end parapets. The barn consists of five bays arranged in a north/south direction, with wagon bays in the second and fourth bays that have opposed cart entries. There are header ventilation courses and diaper ventilation patterns at the gable ends, along with a modillion eaves cornice.

On the west side elevation, there is an 8-pane window and a doorway, both of which have cambered heads. At the south end, there is a single-storey addition with a hipped roof that includes a large archway with a semi-circular head on its west elevation, as well as a small lean-to on its south side featuring a west archway with a cambered head.

To the north-east, there is a large five-bay single-storey range that adjoins the barn, along with another range of out-buildings to the south-east, both of which share similar architectural details with the barn. The 20th-century additions at the trim centre of the east elevation are not considered to be of special architectural interest. This substantial barn and its adjoining out-buildings are prominently situated next to the main Kidderminster Road, directly opposite Woodcote Manor House.
