Description

A barn and stables, dating from the late 17th century, with some mid-20th century repairs. The building is timber-framed and sits on a brick plinth. It is largely weatherboarded, with some brick infill and has a tile roof. It comprises six framed bays aligned north-west to south-east. The three bays at the south-east end contain a central threshing floor, while the remaining three bays function as stables with a loft above. The gable-end trusses feature two struts to the collar and trenched purlins.
