Description

3 King Street is a former public house, now a shop, located in Wolverhampton. It dates from the early 19th century, with parts possibly from the 18th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof. It stands three stories high and has a three-window range. The top of the building has a coved cornice. The segmental-headed windows are fitted with small-paned iron fixed glazing. The entrance, located in the third bay, has a blocked window to the right and paired doors, along with a 20th-century canopy and a recessed panel above that indicates a former loading door. There is also a 20th-century wall-mounted lantern with a wrought-iron bracket. The interior has not been inspected.
