Description

This is a sewer ventilation pipe located approximately 20 meters east of Upper Villiers Street in Wolverhampton. It dates from around 1860 and is made of cast iron. The pipe is cylindrical and features a fluted base with cresting at the top. It is a well-preserved example that is significant in relation to the early development of sewerage systems.
