Description
17 Victoria Street is a shop building located in Wolverhampton, dating from the early to mid 18th century. It is constructed of stucco and features a parapeted roof. The building stands three stories high and has a five-window range. Notable architectural details include cornices over the ground and first floors, a top cornice, a parapet, and end quoin strips. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front. The windows are adorned with fielded-panelled keystones and are sash windows, with 12 panes on the first floor and 9 panes on the second floor. Gable-end stacks are present. The interior has been remodeled in the 20th century, but it may still retain interesting features on the upper floors, including a mid-18th century staircase and an 18th-century door.
