Description
Turnover Bridge No 3 is an accommodation bridge over the Shropshire Union Canal, located just south of The Droveway. It was built around 1834 by Thomas Telford. The bridge is constructed of brick and features stone coping. It has an elliptical brick arch and stone-coped parapets, with the southern parapet sweeping forward and down. The southern part of the bridge is separated by a parapet to create a roving bridge. An oval iron plaque on the south side displays the number 3.
