Description

Cedar Court is an early 19th-century house located on Walsall Wood Road, Aldridge. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond, with painted stone dressings and a slate roof. The east front presents a symmetrical three-storey, three-bay facade, featuring a modillion cornice. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within surrounds with stepped, chamfered false voussoirs. The front door has a rectangular light above it, and is framed by engaged Tuscan columns supporting a pediment. Flanking the main facade are two bays of two storeys each, with window surrounds similar to those on the front, though they have modern window frames. At the rear of the house, a tall stair window with glazing bars and a round head is visible.
