Description

The Old Rectory, now converted to flats, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a hipped slate roof that overhangs the walls. The building is two storeys high and has four bays on both the north and south walls. These bays contain tall sash windows with glazing bars. A door with an unfluted Greek Doric porch is located in the second bay of the north wall. The two right-hand bays on the north side are constructed of bricks of a slightly different colour and appear to have been rebuilt around their window openings. There are two chimneys on each side wall.
