Description
The Shrubbery is a house from the mid- to late 18th century, currently used as offices. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and features a tile roof. The facade is symmetrical, consisting of two storeys with an attic and three bays, adorned with two string courses and a dentil course at the eaves. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have segmental arches. A lunette attic window is set within a central pediment. The entrance door is framed by a doorcase with engaged Tuscan columns. The return walls each have two gables; the left-hand wall has two bays, while the right-hand bay features a two-storey semi-circular brick bow with a window on both floors.
