Description
Libbard's House is a Grade II listed building dating from 1800. It is constructed of red brick and features an old tiled roof that is hipped behind a low parapet. The building has a cornice and a central slightly projecting pediment, which includes a circular panel displaying the name of the house and its date of construction.
The structure is three storeys high and has a symmetrical arrangement of sash windows, with one window in each bay under stucco-faced lintels. The central windows have cornices supported by consoles, positioned above a six-panel door and a fanlight that features radiating glazing bars. This entrance is framed by a panelled reveal and is surrounded by slim Doric pilasters beneath an open pediment.
