Description
The property at 85 Meeting House Lane is a house dating from the early 17th century, with alterations in the early 18th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of timber framing and brick, with a plain tile roof, and features a central brick stack. A stone plinth is present. The house follows a two-bay lobby entry plan. It is a single storey building with an attic. The front elevation incorporates a central 20th-century brick gabled porch, flanked by single three-light sliding sash windows set within segmental brick heads, beneath a brick band. Above are two raking dormers, each containing a three-light sliding sash window. Gable walls indicate the presence of 17th-century timber framing.
